The Organization of American States (OAS) has compiled a Portal on Cybercrime of the member states excisting cybercrime legislations, see for Jamaica

A Bill relative to e-commerce is being developed in the Ministry of Commerce and Investment, and will be presented to the Parliament during the legislative year ending in March 2004.

According to a Report on the Electronic Transactions Policy the Electronic Transactions Act creates a stable and predictable regulatory framework for electronic transactions. This will mean the passage of laws that will cover such areas as online security, privacy, computer misuse, and consumer protection, and which will provide for the validity and enforceability of electronic records, signatures and transactions.
